{ let it be } bio : emily is a 20-year old young lady who lives in one of her favorite cities in the world, los angeles, california. she attends the university of california, los angeles (commonly known as ucla), is now a third year student and now lives in los feliz. major: mass communication studies, minors: human complex systems and music history (ooOOooOoo). she is a freaky little thing, in the best possible way. she enjoys (among many other things), every and all types of music, movies and digital editing, theatre, singing/pretending she's going to start a band, fine arts (especially painting and sculpture), video games (console), mucking about with her computer/digital graphics, acting silly, riding horses, literature, writing, musicals, science fiction, and the color green. she is quite friendly, lovable, and nice when you get to know her (although that is a bit clique), and above all things, em (also known as 'emily') is incredibly ECLECTIC. she is also quite fond of lists of things, so you can be sure she'll find some time to put a bunch of them up here at some point in between all of her other eclectic activities. email : emeliz@ucla.edu aim : w i l d eggplant fan listings :

There is SOO much school work to do right now, dang it! All professors seems to just love to give lots of work about 3rd and 4th week for some reason, I think it's because they think we've had it easy until now, but that's not true! We NEVER have it easy, the students always get the brunt of everything: the fee increases, the TA strikes, etc. Grr. But I will not dwell on what I cannot change. But speaking of work, I started my new job at the Ucla stockroom yesterday, yes yes very exciting I know. Actually, it's not a very exciting job, but I'm not complaining, I got it quickly, the hours are super flexible, my boss is cool, and sometimes I get paid to sit around and study when there's no work to be done. So it's all good. But to degress into something that isn't good, Crest Whitestrips! They don't tell you in the commercial that the little suckers don't stick to your teeth well, they sting your tounge (or at least mine), and you have to wear them for 30 minutes 2 times a day for 2 weeks to see results. (!!) I don't have icky teeth or anything, and I did see a little more whiteness after the first time so maybe that's not true about having to wear them so much, (maybe that's for people with really bad teeth), but dang they are the most awkward things to wear! At least they work, or seem to. Still, oowie.
